To Return Or Exchange

Above all, we want you to love your Little Hootons garment. But, if something goes wrong, here is the legal bumpf that tells you how we handle it.

If you are not satisfied with the product you have chosen, you may return it to us within 28 days from the date of the order. Extended Christmas Returns Policy. All items ordered after the 28th of November 2019 can be returned right up until the 10th of January 2020. You can either choose Exchange or Refund, provided that the product is returned complete, in perfect condition, unused, and in the original packaging. If it is not in the original packing or another suitable box (so the item doesn’t get squashed) we will not be able to refund you as they will be unsellable.

The return to us postage for either a RETURN or an EXCHANGE is for the customer’s account.

When returning items we recommend the use of the Royal Mail “Signed For” service or similar and to obtain proof of posting and a tracking number. We cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit.


For refunds, please complete our RETURNS/EXCHANGE FORM enclosed in your parcel and return it with the garment.

Your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.


To enable us to keep our product prices low and as we are a small company, we are unable to offer free exchanges. The delivery charges for sending your new product will need to be paid for by the customer and an invoice will be issued by us via email once we have received your Return. You can choose which delivery cost you would like from our Delivery Options.

Please complete our RETURNS/EXCHANGE FORM and follow the Returns process as stated above.

Faulty Product

Please take time to read policies on our website – misuse of your products could cause an unnecessary fault. If a product is faulty on receipt, please notify us as soon as possible and within 2 working days in any event and we will arrange a replacement or a refund. If a product develops a fault within 6 months of purchase, we will offer a repair or replacement at our discretion. Outside this timeframe, we are unable to offer a repair or replacement.

​For any faulty returns, you are required to arrange and pay for the return of the product(s) to us. We will refund the costs of carriage up to a maximum of £5 where the item is confirmed by us to be faulty as a result of a manufacturing defect.
